Thanking God, today in Long Island is a beautiful, warm day....56 degrees, before dropping to 28 tomorrow...

I took her for a hard ride. The roof open, the sun in my face, 2,800 miles on the clock that allow me to push her a little harder....

She got splashed by the snow melting, but the beautiful smell of burned rubber made this a day to remember and gave us (me and her...) enough fun to raise hope for a beautiful Spring together....

 

That's awesome !! Glad you got too finally take it out again Spring needs to hurry up.

 

Thank you! I mean I drive her every day, but with below freezing temperatures, it makes me very tense, without snow tires....

 

I could see why that would make you a little tense !! Next year put snow tires on the top of the list

I am up in Westchester, and managed to get out for a nice drive up the Bronx River Parkway at the end of the day. My car has been locked away in the garage for the past several weeks due to the weather (and all the road salt!) I forgot just how much I love driving this car.

I highly recommend snow tires. I have the Pirelli Sottos. They feel as solid as normal all-seasons, performance-wise. I intend to pick up a set of dedicated rims for my winter tires next year, so I can swap them back and forth in my garage.

Once I get my summer tires back on, I can't wait to get this car on a track to really drive. This car is just begging to be driven at the limit.

 

Yes, I know I should have gotten snow tires.....but I love the Carrera Classic wheels....I didn't want to buy another set yet....I want to decide next year on my Winter wheels.
