+1
!!! I was hoping they would have resolved the buffeting issue by modifying the mirrors like on the GT3 Cup... (and that we could rapidly order these new mirrors for our 991's)

No worries Darren, this picture is actually really old...like last winter old (as are the other pics in the article, from last summer).
If you look closely you'll see this is actually a C4S mule (from before that was actually released) with a GT3 front bumper and a modified (center cut out) defuser with a cut out in the center for the exhaust tips.
Also the front bumper is entirely covered by a "bra" and it's missing the small wheel arch extensions.
The same thing happened with the C4S (just before it was released) where Jalopnik said they had the first images... it was a C2S!
The GT3 is suppose to be released in a month and thus-far the only images of a GT3 without camo is that of the GT3 Cup car and these below, but even these don't have the real rear bumper and some of the vent openings on the front taped off...and (as you pointed out) don't sport the real GT3 mirrors.
Soon though, soon.

As Sid wrote, the pics posted by the OP are old. By all accounts a lot more more info should be released in the next few weeks.
Pics posted by Sid are mouth watering and that car is going to be hard to resist.

Are sure about this as rennlist is posting a car really looking like this as the real deal, looks same to me:

That my friend is the good stuff, WOW!
John (911 Slow) always has the real info, he's got a direct deal with Porsche for limited publishing rights of some very highly guarded internal info and specs.
Your first post has a link to a site that does not have the right info and a VERY old picture...
Rennlist is effectively THE first to have info and pics directly from Porsche about the 991 GT3... which they are releasing through John in a highly controlled manner but I'm loving it!
This absolutely IS the first shots of the new 991 GT3 without camo!
I would suggest editing your first post and deleting the picture and link to that phony/false info the magazine site is currently providing and put this link with this pic...
Because that is most definitely worth letting fellow 6speeders know about!
Thanks for sharing!
Cheers!
Still not sure what to think about this, now the pics are on 6speedonline main page?!

Anyway, the main thing is there's pics of the real deal right below it with all the pertinent info.
Thanks again for the Rennlist link it has some excellent info.
Although by the looks of it that turned into a PDK vs MT and "why I hate Center Locks" thread...

I hope more new info will be able to rise to the top though.

Cheers!
Yeah it's a little puzzling that they (6sol) would use a photo of a GT3 mule (C4S with a GT3 front bumper and Aerokit Cup package) as their primary shot... sure it's a GT3 but why use that when you've got other shots of it with the actual rear wing and appearance package.
