Funny, but what people think of us...
My friend posted this picture on facebook and I found it pretty funny... and I concur that this is what most really think of people who own a 'fancy' car...
However, in reality, I don't think this is true at all... or I must be doing something wrong because I never picked up any girls because of the car that I am driving. Now that I drive a 911S (stepped up from C63), I don't see any girls throwing themselves in front of my Porsche

Too funny.. but sadly an accurate depiction of peoples perceptions.
I have always been extremely low key, other than what I drive due to my love of cars and engineering feats. Very few comments.
However, my wife gets a lot of attention and questions when she's flying about town in the 911. I wonder what a poster with a female owner would look like?

Porsche's are male magnets, I get a lot of dudes asking me questions about my car. Mercedes are chick magnets. When I drive top down, I get a lot of offers from girls asking to sit in the passenger seat. I rarely drive my cars in public places, only up in the mountains and to work.

my experience says most people in general (m,f young and old)
will look at the porsches more than a bmw or a benz no matter what caliber they are
I am not sure what they are looking at though ( the speedy aspect, or the $$$, or the beauty of the porsche?)
one thing is for sure; this is not about the driver
