Oil Pressure Gauge

Anybody else rely on the digital readouts for the car temps n such? I tend to use them quite a bit as it's all in one spot. I did just notice that the oil pressure does not match. I did reset the car just in case it was a computer glitch, same thing.

Water and oil temp are looking to be accurate, but I was noticing there can be quite a difference with the pressure. Digital has shown 29psi while the mechanical was sitting at 20. Not sure which is correct, but I have my suspicion the mechanical is correct. I'll be stopping by the dealership to have them look or calibrate it.

Found my answer.

Silly Americans!
The Germans set the oil pressure to the bars. Each bar equals 14.96 psi. 2 bars is equivalent to 30psi.
Learned something new

Can you convert the electronic gauge to read out in the same units as the mechanical gauge?

I don't see where I can change it to match the mechanical display. I only see where I can change the display to show something else, not change the PSI setting.

It should be under the units setting.

Mine all match...

Btw, the battery digital gauge is great. It shows battery charge going up via regenerative braking...very cool indeed

Agreed, Fester!! I have mine always showing in the MFD's center position along with water and oil temp. It also is nice to see the battery is staying above 12 volts when the auto stop is on.
