Hi guys,
just to keep you informed, today my dealer changed the infamous ECU taht caused the issue in my PSE system. Now the problem is solved.

It was always ON, but not a "true on" i would say...it was in the middle between closed and opened.

Now, when i switch on the PSE, the sound changes alot, inside and outside.

there was a software upgrade from porsche too, in order to make it work.

But now, evrything works GREAT.

You, that have the PSE where right: IT'S A MUST HAVE!!!

Elias:
I'm assuming this is the Porsche PSE. Is it exactly the same as the factory install (no differences physically in the system) and how much was it including labor? With it turned off, does the exhaust sound the same as the non PSE you had before?

Thanks

ChuckJ

Hi ChuckJ!
Well, Yes, it's the factory PSE.
It is a little louder than the non-PSE exhaust even when switched off, i'd say a more lower sound.
But, well, when you switch the ON button, it seems to be on a F1 car! WONDERFUL! A MUST HAVE!
Well, as i told some time ago in another post the PORSCHE dealer where i bought the car is one of my best friend so...it was not expensive for me. Anyway we speak about 2.500,00 Euros + 8Hrs of work...let's say 2.800,00 Euros.

Well, I think now, after a short trip with the new exhaust that i'll keep my defected ECU with PSE always on...WHAT a great sound..!
U don't really need to switch it off..!

The problem is, in any case...solved!

I should be getting my C2S in about 6 weeks and plan to leave SE on ALL the time. Your situation just makes that more easily done.

Yes, but it is partially true.
It was "always on", but the sound was different (wrose), than now that it is right mounted on the car.

I would say that it was somethin "in the middle" between Full opened and full closed...

Anyway my dealer told me there is an easy way to let it always opened, maybe i'll ask him.
