Reached the 2200 mark and went for my weekend drive. Warmed it up and then switched to Sport Plus. During break in, I had put it in sport plus once or twice while at high speed, but really experimented very little with it until today. Was doing 80 in 4th gear and it is amazing how the car just wants to take off! Really quite exhilarating. Got off hiway and stopped at a light. Car just wanted to red line out of 1st gear at around 40 mph. Tried again but this time manually changed gear to 2nd at around 30. Car didn't seem to like that and when I slowed down to around 25, it engine braked back into 1st gear. On the entrance to hiway, punched it and man oh man -- what a feeling! I have never driven a car like this - and I love it more every time I drive it! Amazing!!! Simply amazing!!

Isn't it neck breaking

Love when it's in sport plus and you change gear manually around 6-7K rpm...and there come a neck jerk...WOW! It's really turns in to a car which it's meant to be!!!

I personally shift manually most of the times in Sport+ (either because I am at the track or because I do not enjoy redlining in 1st in normal traffic).

 

I tried LC first time a couple of days ago...with my 11 years old sitting right next to me......,BOY OH BOY!!! What a thrill!!!!!

 

You can always lease a 911s and leave it on sports Plus all the time since mile 0 :-)

Sport plus is no big deal on a manual car..... At least for street driving...

 

I cant' believe what kind of looser I am. Car has 7500 miles and I have never used LC! Seriously, I *forgot*...

 

I have fallen in love with Sport Plus on my manual, but I do have some very nice winding, desolate, and deserted mountain roads to use it on. I find it makes the car a living breathing razor's edge as compared to just being more responsive in Sport mode alone.

 

And me, though I plan to keep her....

 

I am anxiously waiting to use Launch Control.....waiting for warmer tires, and also trying to find a location to use it that won't get me arrested....

 

Lol. I got pulled over one if the first time I tried it on open road. 10pm, 4 lane boulevard with zero traffic ... And a cop hidden in the trees with a laser gun!!!! Laser jammer install was already scheduled for the following week
The police officer was cool though and he loved the car.
