Past the breakin

Great news! I finally passed the breakin period this morning on the way to work. Bad news, it's been raining non stop here and is supposed to SNOW this weekend!! What the heck is that all about! Infact the temps were so cool this am that the oil temp never made it to full operating temp so there was no fun sport plus mode. Man I know spring and simmer are coming but it sure doesn't seem like it up here!!
I guess it's ok, it will just give the car a little more breakin time. But man am I ready for a little sunshine and dry roads!!

A couple quick observations. My car has to be right in front of the garage door for the opener to work. The normal handheld remote works from a lot further away. I still struggle with the jukebox and USB. Most of the songs say, unable to play, especially if they are in lossless format. Seems like the easiest option is to get a 160GB iPod and put all my music there instead. I've not gotten any errors using my iPhone or nano. All my songs in iTunes are in lossless format so I don't want to reformat them. Also some CD's are recognized by PCM with all the details, others just say cd and track 1 with no song info. Not sure why as some are very new CD's.

Overall very minor issues, but annoying none the less.

I had some luck today. It rained most of the morning but then stopped so by quitting time today the roads were mostly clear. Unlike most of you I had not used sport or sport plus at all during the breakin, I only went over 4k a couple of times and even then I stayed below 5k. I did however use PSE often, which is just amazing! So when I was heading home, by way of a little detour, and noticed the roads were dry and clear I gave the sport button a push..... All I can say is wow and that I immediately had a smile plastered on my face. I have read others comments about how different the car is, but honestly until you experience it you really just don't understand.
It felt like a different car altogether, and I have a manual, so I'm saying that without the benefit of lightening fast PDK shifts or launch control. Everything immediately sharpened even the PSE sounded better. I pulled into the garage came in and told the wife how amazing the drive was and to her credit she immediately asked me to go back out and gave me a list of errands to run!! I've never been so excited in my life to go buy diapers, I practically ran back into the garage Can't wait to do it all over again tomorrow!

Your wife is very supportive...or perhaps she wanted you to go buy diapers anyway...win-win

Good point, one of the many advantages of the 4S! Although I have to say my c2 has done amazing this year in the snow so I can only imagine how much better the 4's are.
