New Jaguar F-Type vs Porsche Carrera - track battle
F-Type V6S (380 HP) vs Base Carrera manual (350 HP)

Not a surprise result but I hope that next time, they can race the new F-Type V8 (495 HP) vs Carrera S (400 HP) and may be jaguar could have a chance to win the race.

That looks like a 3.4 Carrera, so it only has 350 HP!

Doesn't Tiff know that the 911 is slow without torque down low and that it only has 350 hp and 911s are no longer fun to drive.....?

impossible! thats a 981 motor and it is underpowered at this price point!

I just can't believe he was actually enjoying driving a base 991 at all. Hasn't he seen the "3.4 Engine Disappointing Performance" thread? For that matter, doesn't he realize that Porsche should have dropped 911s in general with the release of the new Cayman?

(I'll be out driving my underpowered 991 C2 MT with a smile on my face while I wait for answers to these unanswerable questions...)

He's driving the **** out of the "base" carrera. Looks like a fun car to me.

I nearly wet myself reading the sheer stupidity written in that thread. Some people have either:
- more money than brains
- projected their own inability onto the car
- no clue about what Porsche driving and values are all about

But hey, I might be wrong !

Oh, that's why I found the "cayman+2" brochure in my glove compartment. I thought it was just an advertisement for a great new car in R&D.

Right, he may as well have been doing laps on a bicycle at that point. Maybe he's an avid cyclist, because I just can't come up with any other reason he'd be having fun driving a base 991... It's just impossible!

now I understood why I'm completely happy with my 991. I cycle too much! Damn, probably minivans will also make me happy.
