About to order 2014 991 Cab S.. Suggestions?

I 've just joined the forum, and I'm about to order a 2014 991 CabS.

I'm looking for suggestions. I have until June to confirm, but I want to make sure I get an early ship date so I don't get behind the August vacation for the factory (as well as all of the EU)..

Happy to be part of the community.

Gary

If it doesn't have to be a cabriolet, go for 50th anniversary coupe (3.8L, widebody, limitation number) but production starting on September.

50th anniversary coupe? Does anyone have any additional info on this? I also am about to put my order in but if this is true, I'll wait!

Thanks for the suggestions..

I ordered that car last Saturday, and the 3 things that the Dealer suggested were:

Parking Sensors
Folding Mirrors
Smokers Package

I agreed to them all (Being a non-smoker, I never would have though to get the smokers package without their suggestion)

As far as cabriolet, or not, I am fortunate to live 3 mile from the Santa Monica mountains and Malibu, so a Cab is really important...

Here's what I ordered:b

911 Carrera S Cabriolet
Basalt Black Metallic
Cabriolet Roof in Black
Black / Platinum Grey lthr int
Sport Exhaust System
Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
Porsche Dynamic Chassis Cntrl
20-inch SportDesign wheel
Wheel caps color Porsche crest
Smoking package
ParkAssist (front and rear)
Sport Chrono Package
Power Steering Plus
Electric folding ext. mirrors
SportDesign steering wheel
Two-tone leather interior
Power Sport Seats (14-way)
Premium Package Plus (for use with Power Sport Seats)
BOSE® Audio Package
Black Bi-Xenon lights w/ PDLS
Center console trim in leather
Wheel spacers, 5 mm
Clear glass tail lights
Fuel filler cap with Aluminium Look finish
Carbon pkg (leather/PDK)

Believe me, August 2nd can't get here fast enough.

Great build, very similar to mine. I would consider the 18 way seats...they are really comfortable while remaining sporty.

For me, they would have been awesome, but I have a disabled brother, and some friend / family members that would have had a challenge with the Sport seats.

I appreciate the feedback.

Looks like a great build. Congrats. The wait will be longer than you can imagine. June 21 will not get here fast enough for me . . .

I put the One Touch controller on my list.

Are the clear side markers after market?

Do you have a link for the side markers?

I searched the site, and only found an eBay seller that didn't have them for 991's..

Thanks.

Here you go. Simple installation. The unit comes with the amber bulb, which creates an egg yolk appearance once you install them. If you do not want this, you will also need to get the chrome bulbs, which is same color as the lens with not on, but will blink amber when turned on. I included sites.
