Bell STI-R Plus and integrated display from Radar-Mirror.com

I just received my kit from Scott.
Easy transaction and the display seems really well done, you really can't see it.
My car arrives May 31st and I'll post up some step by step photos of the install and a review.

Rapture1 is infamous around these parts
Honestly, I had the mirror with a V1, and while it is a cool product I had a really difficult time seeing the display when wearing sunglasses.

We're you wearing polarized sunglasses? They can distort Led screens.

They are prescription, not sure if polarized. It was not so much distortion but hard to see due to being darker. The V1 had a red display so it may be different with yours. I would be interested in hearing your thought once it is installed. I actually sent the first one back and they made some adjustments and it was better. Great customer service.

I have one in blue and it is hard to see. Honestly you don't need to see it. It is a sound based system.

Detectors are illigel where I live, so the less visible it is to the outside the better.
I had a similar set up in my M3.

i just had a bel stir plus and l.i. installed with the red led on the radar mirror. the brightness is adjustable, and i find that with polarized raybans, it isn't hard to see the led notations. i think the red led mirror is like $100 extra, but i think easier to see. ymmv

i do find it useful to have both audio and visual, because with the stereo on and the top down, it helps to have both.

Just saw this:

Looks like a good deal if anyone is looking for a stir plus and includes the shifter.

I think the red is standard and the blue is $100 extra.
