Unusual use for PSE
A recent thread piqued my curiosity. While I have heard the pops and burbles from the pse i have never heard the roar. Well i did tonight sitting in my driveway. Pse on. Sunroof open. Windows down. Revved engine. Aside from the wonderful screaming roar there was an unintended dividend, a payback - that stinking middle of the night barking f#%king dog with the loud bellowing piercing voice that lives next door - around 250 feet away was apparently awaken by the exhaust and started making wounded canine sounds that didn't stop for a about 5 minutes after I put the car to bed.
I am generally an animal lover, however I am so tempted to fire up the Porsche the next time that beast starts barking at 3 am. Yes I know that I really should just call my neighbor up at 3 am and request that they kill their dog but an early morning pse treatment may just cure the lab

I have also noticed that in my Pan GTS when I hit the brakes in Sport Plus mode, the exhaust will scare away deer. At night it's saved me from collisions on several occasions. In the GTS it power shifts during braking, revs the engine and sounds great; the deer scatter off the road when they hear it; amazing
I Love the OP. There's nothing much worse for a decent resident than to have a nuisance barker next-door whose owner could care less. Completely irresponsible, neglectful and ultra-selfish of the dog owner.

Sounds tempting except for the deer that prowl the neighborhood eating my shrubs. Wouldn't want to have a Bambi hood fixture.
... Saw my neighbor this afternoon and asked him how his dog was doing. He didn't know what I was talking about and I explained about the PSE. I also asked him if he would be so kind as to consider obtaining sleeping agents or drugs for his pup as he tended to wake up and bark. He responded saying that our other neighbor had complained. I suggested that he trade in the dog for parrot, they live longer and the possibility of a pissed off neighbor shooting the bird is practically zero.
