New 991 owner!
thanks to some great advice here i was able to navigate the messy details and decisions between 997 and 991 and pulled the trigger on a 12 991 today.
I got a great price of 75,999 and with only 5400mi. CPO warranty until 6/18
great drive home. I was short on time so dealer will fully detail and remove a few small scratches next time im there. He also agreed to find me color crests wheel centers.
I found once i saw the car that it also had a halfhood/full fender/mirrors clear bra done. nice.

Awesome !! You did it!!! I just signed on and saw this news. The car looks great and to date you got best deal on a 991 that I have yet to see . MSRP on that car had to be close to 100K . Awesome !!!

speaking of MSRP: I just found this in the owner manual:
I have a few q's.
the Apps? the 13 bose system details on the online configuration states that you can use an AHA app from your phone to get apps on your system. Is that new for 13 or should my 12 have it? see below..

Online Services offers a direct interface with a customer's smart phone via the "AHA-Radio" app – available for iPhone® and Android® devices.
Oh and 445w bose sounds great! maybe not a burmeister but still great.
oh and dont laugh...i called the dealer asking why my car "stalled" in traffic...then i recalled the "button". I read that here somewhere...felt like a doofus..

The "Online Services" option:
2012 - not available
2013 - standalone option $210
2014 - only available with Bose and Burmester packages
You can use the AHA app without Online Services, but it is controlled by your phone. Works like any other phone app, Pandora, etc. If you have the Online Services option, alternatively PCM can control and interact with the AHA app on the phone.
