I watched the first episode of Top gear season 20 yesterday, and in their trailer it showed this.

Clearly a 991, I'm just not sure if its a a C2S or C4S. I hope the latter, as I have one.

Either way, it will be nice to hear the TG boys rand on about it.

Of course they will moan about the steering, as well, it's different to the old one, and lets face it, these guys are about a million years old now, so change is never good in their eyes. But still, it should be a good watch Let's hope they feature it in e20x02 next weekend.

Will it be the same as ever? Jeremy hating the 911 and Richard liking it ?

I'm sure Jeremy is going to be surprised, but I'm equally sure he is never ever going to admit that on BBC TV. :-)

Are you finally warming up to the GT3 Suzy ?

Haha I never said I didn't like the GT3. I love it! The only thing is that I don't see myself driving it on a daily base. Because of its striking appearance and because it isn't as practical as a C4S.
And yes..... That SOUND!!! Damn....
But I have to admit that I have done some builds on the configurator in recent days, finding out that a nicely equipped GT3 will be barely more expensive than my C4S... It would be a very, very nice car to own of course. First have to get some more space to park cars before I start collecting them hahahaha
Untill that time I will be extremely happy with my C4S.

I'll be surprise if Jeremy has any good to say about the 991. He seem biased against 911 in general.

I dont have a link to the article... but remember after the 991 was first released he actually commented on how he liked it.

I look forward to this episode.

He loved the 997 Turbo.
I recall him commenting about the rear seats. He said something like "...you have to have fairly thin children, but then you would have because you have a Porsche 911 so you'd have a thin wife. "

Just saw this episode. They spent very little time reviewing it and spent more time on the Singer 911. James May said he liked it but the amount of time they spent on it, you would think they were reviewing the new Camry.

Agreed. I was a little bummed about it. The singer is awesome though.

I am one of Top Gears biggest fans. Scratch that....I was one of their biggest fans. That review was extremely sub par. They didn't even do a timed lap with the Stig. Seriously? Their report on the Singer Porsche, at the same time as the 991 was ridiculous. Not to mention the fact that both cars of been reviewed many times over already on the internet (youtube). The videos on youtube were done better even. Jeremy Clarkson has been known to drive a 911 himself, and yet his persona is completely against 911's.

Thoroughly unimpressed with Top Gear at the moment.
