On April 10th, I ordered a 2014 C2 Cpe., and was given a delivery date of Sept. 6th. On May 11th, I changed my order to a C2S Cpe., and was given a new delivery date of Sept. 13th.

The dealer just informed me that my C2S has been built, and is currently on the way to the Port of Emden (Germany).

Depending on when it gets on vessel (hopefully quickly), it looks like it might be here as early as mid-August, but at least a couple of weeks early (last week in August).

I feel like I might burst with excitement !!

 

When the car arrives, I shall take pride in my small advisory contribution to your final build.

But if it's a total disappointment and goes up in flames in the Vegas sun, you're on your own.

 

Vegas, any further news about the whereabouts of your car? Mine also has a Sept. 13th delivery date but mine is still in production. Just got updated from my salesman: "Your 911 is in the body shop now and running about 3 days ahead of schedule. Next stop is the exclusive options."

 

I had noticed in one of your posts that you were also given a delivery date for Sept. 13th.

My dealer informed me that my C2S completed build on July 5th, and was at the Emden port on July 9th. However, as of Monday, July 15th (the latest dealer computer records) it had not been put on a ship.
There's a lot of ships at the Emden port this week, and I'm hoping that mine was put on one of them.
The dealer is going to check again Monday, as maybe the computer records will have been updated.
