What kind of soap do you guys use? If I'm about to wax, I just use dawn dish soap. However, between that I've been actually using the rinseless wash formulas, specifically, the ECO wash types. Obviously, I do a full regular wash(screw the environment). I find that the ECO soap has some kind of polymer in it that makes the car super slippery and easier to wash with. On one of my other cars, that's black, I've noticed I don't get any swirl marks anymore while washing.

I always use the two bucket method with a foam lance. I have the CR spotless filters in my water filter system, which is hooked up to a Karcher electric power washer.

I've never used ECO soap and most often use Meguires ultimate. In the past I've used super expensive shampoos such as Swissvax bath but found less advantage using it over a good quality shampoo like Meguires. I think the real differences are with after wash products such as waxes and sealants. However, I may well be wrong in my assumptions.

Anyway, I will try ECO.

That too! But then what about that bird dropping that's just waiting around the corner?

I like to tuck the car into the garage and pour myself a nice cider, sit back, and admire the handiwork.

I was wondering... If you all like to wash your car so much, does anyone of you guys wash cars in Europe?? I have a black Boxster that's starting to get dustgrey after a week now LOL

I kinda hate washing cars, but I promised myself to avoid carwashes with this one, so now I have to start doing it myself I guess

watch these videos. and i would highly suggest buying these products. you wont be disappointed in the results! i have been using these products for 4 years and i have found none better. i am a detailing nut.

regardless of what product you use, the process in the videos is the correct process.
