I faced an issue with my PCM last month

The whole system actually was acting weird, was unable toplay anything, no radio, no CD’s and not even able to use the phone although it’sconnected

it just stays on the radio screen, even when I change thesource to CD or ipod it just stays on the radio screen

It stayed for a day like that, tried to restart the PCM,restore to factory settings many times. Tried to restart the car several times but it was the same

Next day it worked out of the blue, and didn’t have anyissue afterwards until today

I am facing the same issue again, tried to restart the PCM,restart the car and restoring PCM to factory settings but its still not working

Any one faced this before? Is it a software issue? Or afaulty unit? I am taking it to the dealer to check it but thought I will postthis and check whether any of you guys faced something similar

 

This has happened to me a couple of times. There are bugs in the software. Usually works after locking the car and waiting for it to reboot. My service guy said they are coming out with updated software later this year and they will update mine on next service.

 

Looks like a software bug to me too, now its working again after locking the car for a while

 

I had one instance of the PCM going our completely. I had left the fob close enough to the car to be detected for several days without driving it and the battery was low. Never happened again. Don't know if the battery issue and PCM were related or just coincidental.
