I was crusing with my friend 997TT and for my suprise after a few runs my 991 was always on top... This PDK shift very sharp (hard) on sport +




Any others have same experience vs a stock 997TT?

 

Oh both cars are Stock, The 997.1 TT is Manual and mine is PDK

 

My 997.2TT PDK with ecu and exhaust (modded or not) would demoralize my C4S.

My 997.1TT would be beat the C4S as well but at much less distance... this would be normal rolling runs of 60 to 130.

Maybe your friend is losing boost with his shifts (if manual)... which often is the case in manual turbo runs.

 

Maybe, but in my case my C2S is a little faster than my friends 991 C4S (heavier car)

 

I own a 991 C2S and my Dad owns a 997.2 TT that has been re chipped. There is no distance or any type of track other then a go cart track that he would not crush me.

 

Whats the weight difference maybe a 100 lbs---- a C2S vs a C4S is a drivers race--- a 997.2TT vs a 2S or 4S is a different story... I have seen magazines (hate to do it) that show the C4S faster and others with the C2S. Bacially its close; very close.

A 997.1TT (stock) should beat either the 2S or 4S--- Ive had 3 of the 4 cars in question so Im just stating my experiences from a roll and dig. But since you did the runs and I believe it happened Ill say: nice wins!!!

 

Yeah PDK 997.2 TT is a different story, more if is modded... This time my 991 was faster than my friend 997.1 TT maybe next time I will run with other TT's and even make a nice vid compilation

 

I don't know the exact difference between a C4S and C2S in weight but mine doesn't have sun roof and the C4S have glass sun roof

 

1) stock 997.1tt is close to a 991S PDK.
2) stock 997.2tt is much faster than a 991S.
3) stock 997.2tt is slower than a modded 997.1tt .
4) modded 997.2tt is slower than a modded 997.1tt
