The headlights for that matter are quite a different story: I first thought they were a waste of money, but quickly changed my mind during a late-night drive along the Saw Mill River Parkway.

In regards to the sound system (I do have the Bose): I'd say skip the Bose and enjoy the music coming from the rear of the car.

Good luck with your new 991, they're really something to behold.
Yeah, I suppose I'm mainly trying to determine the adjustability.. factor and not so much the plus vs non-plus seat. I don't so much care about the extra bolstering, but I admit I am considering that as well..

I think it comes down to adjustments of seat angle, leg extension, and lumbar... and I guess memory..

I did see a comment about using the memory settings for entry and exit. And I do kinda like that perspective.. I have the same problem in my TT where at times and getting into the car where I can't fully open the doors I need to move the seat back.. So having a mem setting for that might be kinda nice...

Still not sure about the Bose... I'm probably going to need to go to the dealer again to decide that... lots of folks seem to think it is irrelevant and listen to the engine instead.. and I get that, and that's why I'm getting PSE.. and a porsche as well for that matter.. But I still like good music.. and that's a very personal thing.. Folks who listen to talk radio I think probably have a different perspective from those who are really into music. and I guess at the end of the day that's sort of a subjective thing in terms of what is good enough...

But I appreciate the input and comments from all

The 14way has a comfort setting that moves the seat back when you pull key and open door, vice versa moves seat forward when you close door and put key in. I love this !

Hmmm, Now I think that might just be the reason I'm looking for to get 14 way... Thanks for explaining that..

^^^+1 I love this feature too - it really makes getting out of the car easier, and when you get in, it adjusts to your driving seat position automatically and perfectly.

Didn't realize how very nice the Sport Plus seats are until I had a 14 way loaner for a week.

The 14way are truly nothing short of brilliant, worth every penny! I would not take a 911 without them!

I have the 14 way power seats. I had a 991 loaner while mine was being serviced that had 4 way seats. Maybe I'm spoiled with the 14 way, but I could not find a comfortable seating position with the 4 way seats and I had it for a few days.

Totally agree that the 14 way seats are wonderful, especially with the comfort setting. While the driver seat goes back upon exit, it doesn't go all the way back, unless there's a secondary setting I haven't found.

I'm about to back down from Full leather interior 14 way to 4 way seats (sport) in my new build.. I'm just not sure the memory and infinite adjustment has much value... I'm thinking I'd rather spend the difference on another option instead.... maybe even upgrading from Bose to Burmester or maybe SPASM..

The memory, is one of those things I've had on cars.. but I'm the only one who will ever drive it.. And for the most part once I adjust the seat in my car I almost never change it when I've had multiway adjustments..

I've had an Audi TT for a number of years with just basic manual seats and never touched them other than to vacuum the car.. so I guess I'm wondering about the value of it...

I'm just wondering if I'm the only one who feels this way about it? I'm fretting over things like not including SC, but 14 way doesn't seem like I'm going to miss anything...
I can't tell you how many times I went through this same decision-making process. Let me just tell you my end result and go from there. I went with the 14-way and I'm happy I did. Comfort settings for in and out are nice. So many times valet people move the seat and the memory comes in handy. I have different settings for different styles of driving in the memory: sporty, track, comfort. I thought I wouldn't need it, but then remembering valet parking pushed me over the edge, and I'm glad I did.

You trust a valet with your baby?? I'd rather slip them a tip and ask if I can park the cars myself? Too many valet horror stories...

It does not go all the way back and there is no secondary setting - I've asked.

No secondary setting. Going all the way back would take too much time I guess. It's perfect as it is for me though.

I'm still dating and if I'm pretty sure first dates would suffer if I made her wait until I parked my car
