Most visible on pic 6, 9 & 10.
Not sure if its auto or manual folding, but folding nonetheless.

Good find! They are folding but probably only manual folding. I have no clue why, but the Turbo S is not available with Sport Design mirrors AND power folding mirrors. If you select that option you get standard mirrors instead of the sport design mirrors...
Not that it matters.... I wouldn't have selected power folding mirrors anyway. The butt of my C4S is almost as wide as the mirrors, so they don't need to be folding.

I would think it only needs a small gear to move the mirror up and down, with the gear located on the inside of the door.

They would have had them this year but they couldn't figure out how much EXTRA to charge for them yet!

There isn't a car with Sport Design mirrors delivered yet... I think that we have to wait at least another month before the first owners reviews become available.

Would the cost to retrofit these be significantly more than speccing them from factory?
Is the unanimous decision is that these look nicer than the standard mirrors ? They are certainly a little busier looking; probably more suitable to the more aggressive body on the gt3.
I'm not sure if they would work well on a Carrera/Carrera S unless specced with sport design/aero kit option. Thoughts ?

I think Suncoast is on it BTW... Read that somewhere else here in the forum. So retrofitting will soon be available.

It's good to know they at least fold manually. I added it to my order just because I thought it looked better too. I think the standard mirrors are nice as well. Do you guys think the mirrors will really solve the buffeting problem? I don't have the car so I can't speak as to how bad it is, but I can't imagine that little space in the mirror changes the aerodynamics enough to do a whole lot. I just think they are offered as a way to differentiate special models (50th, GT3, Turbo S) and make money off people who are willing to upgrade to get that look.
