Hello,

i am currently on my summer vacation, end of summer vacation actually, and frankfurt is my last stop, i had the opportunity to visit the motor show, and snapped some iPhone pictures to share with you, not the best as you all know how difficult it is to take pictures in this crowd

the crowd over the 918 was crazy, you can barely see it actually, i had a chance to snap one shot only which was a failure



we then moved to the Porsche Exclusive lounge, where i saw this beautiful Turbo S in racing yellow, with sport classic wheels painted black for the first time i guess, and yes for me they look much better than the other finish of the rims on the 50th anniversary, interior was black with yellow stitching






i loved the black exhaust tips, i guess it is a new option? as on the porsche official photos i only saw chrome tips









there was a huge crowd over the GT3 as well, which looked great in person, i didnt expect the car to look this wide and very aggressive





There was another Turbo S displayed, in a pearl white color, according to the guy from porsche its called Oryx or Onyx White? he was not sure, i guess its a paint to sample? correct me if i am wrong..







Then the 50th Anniversary in both colours, for me i didn't like it, its a nice car, but not what i want, i guess i will prefer to order a C2S and customise it a little bit with the extra money instead of buying the 50th, am not saying its ugly, just not my taste







I will try to go once again within the coming days, maybe the crowd will be less and i will have a better chance to see the Porsches! Enjoy

Thank you for sharing. You mention that the GT3 looks wider than you imagined. In a nicer way I hope?

 

Turbo is actually wider than the GT3! I cannot wait to see it in person. The rear fenders are a little more squared off and look great in pics. It just looks fantastic. I am just not a huge turbo fan. Really like naturally aspirated. And of course I cannot drive a GT3 (no backseat for the kiddies).

Thanks for the great snaps! How does the Onyx White compare to the ordinary non-metallic white in person? From you shots, it looks fantastic - a very shiny metallic white!

This car is making me think long and hard about switching from white. Might have to do it. Looks like Rhodium to me.

 

That pearl white looks amazing, I'd do it in a second if it was offered.
