Just made the deal with my dealer for a new 991, yahoooo.
If all goes well, she'll be coming at the end of October!

Here's the spec's:

Sport Design pkg (a must for me, love the ducktail)
Sport Techno's painted Blk
Red Seat Belts (for a splash of color)

Been a lurker over the past few months while I've been deliberating over what's going to replace my fully loaded c63. After multiple test drives, the 991 was the only car that made me smile and say "Are you kidding me?" I love the sound of the sport exhaust and ohhh that PDK, wow--just wow.

I can't wait for her to arrive in a months time, but it will be sad to let go of my beloved AMG. I love the AMG community and will truly miss being part of the group, but I hope the P-car family will be just as much fun!

Kinda neither.
The car was already slated to be built this way by a dealer and my dealer searched and was able to get the allocation for me.
The car has 95% of what I would have ordered and it gets me the car a couple months earlier before winter comes and the car goes into hibernation.

If I had ordered one, I would have opted for steel sunroof, black Xenons, Classic Carrera wheels--all pretty "unimportant" to my build. The "big" options were there for me (blk, pdk, ducktail, spasm, exhaust), so I pulled the trigger. Now I just gotta figure out what to do to pass the time I guess I can always burn up the wheels on my C63

 

Congratulations! My custom ordered c4s should arrive at the end of this month too. Look forward to seeing pictures of your new beauty.

I hope I like the Sport Technos, I wasn't able to find any great pics online with black SportDesign Pkg with black Technos. Either way, wheels are an easy fix.

Congrats! Black/Black is the best color combination for a 991. Of course I'm a manual guy so the PDK would not work for me. Many happy miles!

I actually have these pics saved on my computer already, I found them while searching the net for black/sport design cars. Your car looks amazing, my first choice for rims were the Carreras, but I've been warming up to the black Technos.

Welcome to 6spd. You'll enjoy the Pcar more than your AMG. I've had 7 AMGs in my life time but when it comes to Pcar, there's NO SUBSTITUTE.
