Hatch to gas cap stuck? Anyone have a DIY?

To quote Eddie Murphy, " do you believe the MFS?" Really - I may need to have it towed because I can't fill it up?
When you push on it, the spring loaded mechanism releases, but it is stuck nonetheless. Anyone have this issue?
Thanks

The Runner1012 beat me to it.
Everyone should familiarize themselves with all the emergency release latches.

Thanks guys! One thing though, the hatch release is not electric. I will let you know.
