I had the chance to take a half-day mini road-trip on Monday, so I drove up into the Santa Cruz Mountains and looped around through Big Basin and Half Moon Bay. It was an amazing day, got to stop at all the great vistas. As you can imagine, the roads weren't very crowded on a Monday. =)

I took some normal pictures of my cab at pull outs (attached), but I also tried something new. I took a bunch of Panoramas on my android phone and uploaded them to Google Maps to see if I could sneak my car into the live Maps database. Guess what, they all made it through moderation and you can find my car in Google Maps now! =)

Great Photos! I went early sunday morning for a drive on Hwy 9 down from skyline to boulder creek. I usually do 84 down to Hwy 1, but Hwy 9 is awesome - my new local favorite.

 

That's in California? Very nice. Nothing that nice around here.
Question, where's your front license plate? Don't the cops frown on that to say the least?

Thanks guys, it was definitely a great day for a ride yesterday, glad you like the pics! Chupa, I've been here in the bay area for ~8 years now, never had a problem. I've heard some locations are more up-tight than others (SF and SD get frequent honorable mentions), but I've lucked out so far. Before moving down here I lived in Seattle, never had a problem up there either. No doubt they'll pop me some day, till then I'm cool with rear plates. =)
