Scary thought... price of new tires..?
For me it's frozen dinners, microwave popcorn and a Redbox movie rental. Hmmph. The things I do to keep Porsches in my garage.
Consider these results. Michelin 1st:
Ninth: Pirelli P Zero
+ Eighth: Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec
+ Seventh: Toyo Proxes R1R
+ Sixth: Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2
+ Fifth: Continental ExtremeContact DW
+ Fourth: Hankook Ventus R-S3
+ Third: Yokohama Advan Neova AD08
+ Second: Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position
+ First: Michelin Pilot Super Sport

Check out this month's Car & Driver for an explanation of the automatker manufacturer codes on the tires themselves.
Would not suggest you use different brands of tires and/or different types of tires ( All-Season vs Performance Summer ) as each will have different thread patterns. This will affect tire alignment, tire wear & handling.
