Got off the phone with my dealer, they said the update doesn't apply to my VIN - I'm guessing that means I already have the updated version? If that's the case, I don't even want to imagine how bad it must have been previously! I'm going to double-check with a different advisor in the next few days again just to be really sure, but I'm bummed if what I have is the improved version.

And yes, auto-setting the parking brake would be a really nice option too - I once parked, opened the door, started to get out and noticed the car was rolling. Oops! I normally leave it in gear too, I just spaced that time... But unless I'm washing the wheels, I don't think I ever let it intentionally roll when it's turned off.

Thanks again for the code!
