Powerkit/Aerokit Grill Mesh From Rennline Installed

Good Day Folks,

I had been searching for an "O.E. Look" mesh grill for the front bumper, and am very happy with the 991 kit from Rennline.

They have kits available for the Standard and Sport Design/Aerokit Cup front bumpers.

In additon to the Aerokit Cup, I also have the Powerkit which leaves (lots of leaves) the additional front center radiator highly exposed to impact damage from road debris, and collecting leaves twigs like a vacuum cleaner. I think it's well done, and shiould come from Porsche this way in the first place. The side radiators can take some nasty hits as well with no protection. Also makes cleanup after a drive very simple.

edit: Sorry, having a problem uploading pictures for some reason.

Okay,

Think I've figured out why pictures won't upload. Took some really good pics with the new Nikon 7100 I've been fumbling with. Great pictures, stunning detail and picture quality but too large a file to upload over the internet.

I'll go take some with my old standby point and shoot in a few hours and try to get some pictures pictures up here shortly. Thanks!

Standby..,

Or use photobucket to upload. Then large pixel count pictures can be shown. You don't indicate if you have Parking Sensors? I'm trying to get an answer on Sport Design front spoiler/bumper and Parking sensor installed application for these.

I will try the photobucket option later. I just took some photos and will upload those for now. I have the X51 Aerokit Cup on a GT Silver C2S Coupe. I also have the front/rear parking sensors. You can specify the package (with or, without parking sensors) in any of the current front bumper options. The Sport Design and Aerokit Cup are the same. As you also know, the X51 is a wide open door to the center radiator. Ouch!!!

Pictures coming up shortly. Downloading from camera now.

Here are some quick shots from various angles/distance. All relatively close. From a few steps away from the car it's hard to tell they are there, but the protection and ease of cleanup from a drive is seems worth the small investment IMO.

They are available in "BLACK" or "SILVER" preformed from Rennline to fit the specific bumper application with or without parking sensors.

Last Set.

Dealer Tech at Porsche did a great job on the install. 2 hours labor and about $355.00 from Rennline. Much cheaper than a rock through the radiator, and So'oooo much easier to maintain after a drive...especially now during Fall/Winter.

Thanks. Appreciate the comments.

Great car, and I just hit the 2,000 mile mark.

"Expel" full front, clear bra and the mesh grill covers provide a measure of protection I was looking for without altering the "Factory Appearance". No one ever really notices the clear bra is on, and the "Rennline" kit (or similar) looks like it could have come installed from Porsche as well.

Very happy with the job overall.

As "Profit Savvy" as Porsche is, I don't understand why they leave so much to the aftermarket.

Glad they are there!

Now, if HRE will stop whispering to me daily!!!

The grills and aero kit look great. HRE's would be the perfect finishing touch!
