Recommendation for a clear bra installer (West side of LA)

Hi all you LA westsiders,

Please help me find a company that does great vinyl installation work. Want to do the stone guards in black, the headlight surround in black and maybe some of the interior pieces...Not sure if the do that.

Somewhere on the westside of LA would be fantastic. I know Sticker City does great work, but they are in Van Nuys.

As always, thank you all in advance!

Steve

Call Mo at Glistening Perfection. He is also active in this forum. He is in Aliso Viejo just under an hour from you. He does the best work. He works on all of my cars.

I was actually going to recommend Sticker City. I've had their sister company across the street tint a ton of cars, and both companies are reputable and popular in LA. May be worth the drive.

I had Evan at Auto Armour wrap my 4S. He did a flawless job. He's also mobile.

Steve,

I second the Mo at glistening perfection.. He's in OC but worth it. Definitely take care of you.. I'm in orange county and would be happy to let you look at my 991 and the job that was done on my '14 C2S. Very happy..

Also suggest a custom cut and not templates.. more expensive but it's a better job..

FYI, Watch out for the shils with 2 posts who give a gleaming endorsements.

Sean at Ultimate Shield did my 997s. He does good work but it's not perfect and I'm not poo pooing him but sometimes you get what you pay for.

IMO, if I were doing another clear bra... I'd make the drive to Moe at Glistening Perfection. He will do a proper, full wrap and not just rely on a pre-cut template. That way you don't have any unexposed areas and you're properly and thoroughly protecting the paint.

Again, nothing against Sean. I recommend him and think he does good work at a reasonable price but Moe's work is better... but more costly.

+1 on avoiding the precuts.. I looked at a few jobs that were done that way and don't like the way they look..

Thanks everyone for the thumbs up. IMHO, if your budget allows it, custom installation is the way to go. Pre-cuts are eventually going to be redone as over time, washing, wiping, polishing/waxing, etc. will eventually lift the edges of the film and begin exposing it to the elements. Down the road, it'll need replacing. Doing an install with wrapped edges is almost a semi-permanent way to do it and a better value. And when using quality material, the install will last many years.

We're now offering a moderate installation where we don't do paint correction, don't disassemble bumper, and don't apply a nano coating post install, and that's being offered at a more budget-friendly price. It will still include wrapped edges on hood and fenders and the outer edges of the bumper. PM me if you'd like more info.
