918 UP CLOSE - Press Launch
Oh my goodness that looks amazing...
BUT - I still don't get the upper outside corner of the headlights, and why the panel just can't seem to line up to the headlight housing...
I still can't get past the performance of the thing (under 7 minutes around the 'Ring - although not in this trim). Absolutely staggering.

Take a GT-R, increase hp by over 300. Lower the weight by roughly 300lbs, lower the center of gravity, more aggressive gearing, larger footprint....and wala!
I would say the buyers are not much different than many of us 991 owners, but they just have much bigger wallets (and that says a lot, because some of you guys ain't hurtin'
My kids are getting use to the Raman noodles, my wife just keeps telling them, "daddy has a bad addiction" haha--I'm kidding of course
I let them have mac & cheese). I could have bought a faster car than my c2s, but nothing else in the market checked all the other boxes, YMMV.

No you didn't compare the 918 to a GTR!
Wow, that's the first time I've seen Chris Harris partially challenged and less than fully composed. Other than looking like a work of art, it's a little hard for me to imagine how 918 customers in the US will be able to enjoy the car's total assets on public roads. But as a research and development guy I have the utmost appreciation for what the Porsche engineers have accomplished.

I wonder what kind of mileage that thing gets... Looking for another daily driver.
