Any advice??? Give the dealer your phone number, have them fix all the issues and then have them call you...if they aren't fixed, don't walk, run away from this car!!! Something is seriously wrong...

Edit: was the car in Sports Plus? That could explain the lack of smoothness on take off. That mode on a PDK is pretty violent and pretty much made for track use only.

Certainly not normal under any circumstances.
I'd let them have a look at it and then schedule another (cold) test drive.
What type of warranty does the car come with in Norway?

larspronne is infamous around these parts
@socalsteve first in normal during warm up, then tried sport and sportplus which was actually a little smoother. probably because the faster throttle input i guess, as it felt like it wanted to stall when trying a smooth take off in normal...

5 year warranty on all new cars here

thanks!

Yikes! Not normal at all. I have an E46 SMG too and the PDK is a thousand times smoother. not trying to freak you out, but this would certainly give me cold feet! (no pun intended)

I would move along and find another car. Probably easily fixed but not worth the hassle since your in a position to avoid it. I have found pdk to be the finest transmission I have had the pleasure of using. Very very smooth in normal.
