I placed my TT order with GT silver and the espresso interior. I've had a lot of silver cars with black interiors and thought this might be a nice change but I'm not certain of the choice. Can anyone with this combo comment on how the GT silver and espresso go together. Also, Is there any downside to espresso vs black in terms of showing wear on the seats. My other thought was espresso/cognac two tone with deviating carpet in espresso. This two tone works nice with white, blue, and black but would this combo work with GT silver. I can't do red as there a too much red. You can only get the black and red two tone in the TTSEd

 

Espresso is very nice. Very rich looking.

Or you could go black, with deviating seat inners. There is a pick on the forum of red seat inners with the rest of the seat in black. Very sporty, and very sharp looking.

 

Fixinbones your TT as ordered is going to be beautiful. Enjoy it, the wait is going to be a killer.

 

But as long you're thinking of other options, i've always thought Natural Brown was a great compliment to Silver. It's probably a special option at $$$extra, but here are some photos of a 997TT with this combo:

Yes, that's a nice color. My wife had it on a dark blue targa4S and it was stunning. I'm trying to keep the price down so I'm not going to be able to do a LTS interior like that. I'm more concerned about sneaking PDCC and LED lights into my build!

Smart move: PDCC and LED lights. Both add tangible capability to the car. PSE is more an intangible sensory experience, one not to be missed. SC, not so sure is a value proposition, despite the dynamic mounts. Just can't feel it. Now, I am ignoring the several times you want to launch the car each day.

 

I have a platinum silver C2S with red interior with black inserts. It is more dramatic than I expected and I love it. I was at a local dealer and saw a C2S cab in the same color with the brown roof. I expected to hate it. I loved it. One warning, and it is all a matter of taste, I did not like the espresso as much in the GT silver. Platinum silver has a brown cast that matches well with the drown leather. GT silver is a more pure silver - even a blue under cast. It is still good but I did not like it as much. JMHO.

I have a C4S Cab with GT and Espresso. LOVE IT!. get compliments on it all the time. its an awesome combo. to be honest not one i would have ordered without seeing it. i bought mine off the showroom floor, loved it as soon as i saw it.

 

Great picture in the natural light. Will all these flash photos I've been looking at you don't appreciate the true depth of the color.

and btw, my car is a DD, even in the snow in the northeast. my interior looks like new still. car has 7500 miles on it, got in june and spent 90% of the time for the first 3 months with the top down, so it definitely got its share of sun and dust. i have the full leather and it still looks great.
