I would definitely recommend the exhaust. If there were 3 options I would absolutely have, they would be: PDK (with Sport Design Steering Wheel), Sport Chrono, and Sport Exhaust. If I had to get another option, it would be the PDCC (for the track).

If that's what you want, then you are set. No need to ask others to get confused by all our choices.

Saying that, do they still have the packages that come with the seat ventilation, light packages etc? That may be cheaper.

You chose much of what I went for. Do I have any regrets? Maybe the PSE although that's taken care of. Could go aftermarket too. At times I think about PDCC also. Can't say I miss it, yet I love gadgety things and it sounds quite cool.

You should strongly consider the PSE (which transforms the whole driving experience, even though it's "just noise") and SPASM, which gives the car an additional little drop and a more aggressive stance. On that front, you might consider spacers too (either OEM or aftermarket).

+1 on all the above. PSE is fantastic!!! Never drive with it off. SPASM gives much nicer stance though you have to watch the curbs more carefully. I added 7mm and 15mm spacers. Looks perfect in my opinion.

The can needs an exhaust. PSE is a great option and it's OEM. there are several after market brands to choose from too. Many of these are lighter and louder than the PSE. I had to Have PSE but also added an X pipe for "a little more."

Not to sound like a broken record, but sports exhaust is a must and SPASM is great too!

And the glass roof is nice too. I could have gone with the metal roof (I ordered my car) and honestly could go either way and been happy. But others love the glass roof, check out both and see what you think

+1 on the above. I'd skip interior options and go for PSE + SPASM w/PDCC.
But this is all personal and it is YOUR car.

Guys this is a car that's on a lot right now.... Looks like I'll be getting a heck of a deal so aftermarket exhaust is no big deal...

Can someone explain spasm? Never heard of that one before.

OK, more seriously: SPASM = Sport Porsche Active Suspension Management. Like regular PASM but the car sits 20mm lower, has stiffer springs and probably slightly tweaked settings.

I went for SPASM+PDCC and do not regret it for one second. With other cars i always felt the urge to go for aftermarket coilovers and suspension parts to take the car to the track, but SPASM+PDCC got me perfectly happy so far.

Regarding aftermarket exhausts, there is another thread going on right now. I have just installed an AWE switchpath exhaust to replace my PSE and like the sound a lot too.

I'm in the process myself of searching out a C2s and our option list are very similar. I have a newbie question though - how essential is the Sports Chrono pkg - it's not included in many of the cars currently on the lot? Is that one of those essential options or is it used primarily on the track?

I have it on my PDK and I think it is a waste of money ! I do not see the added value over the stock Sport button. In stock Sport it is just as happy and eager to rev to and shift at the redline as it is in SportPlus. Redline shifts in Sport are crisp, in SportPlus they unsettle my chassis.
