lnirenberg is infamous around these parts
I just bought a set unused OEM 20"sport design wheels and Pirellis on eBay for a sweet price. I'm going to mount Pirelli corsa system tires on the wheels I have and hopefully by the time they're fried michilen will have the sport cup 2s cranking.

They measured another 991 C2s and said there's still plenty of room even with the 265s. Just need to get the right offsets, and I couldn't find a set of standard production wheels that works. Eric from Supreme Power had a set of BBS Motorsport E88 wheels and was running 255 PSS in the front.
Do you know what widths and offsets they are setting you up with on the front?

I also think a 265 should fit, as there is plenty of room left with a 255.

I test fitted a 19x9.5 et49mm wheel (rear Boxter spec), thinking I could use it to fit a 265-35-19 on the front.
However, I felt the inside rim was placed too close to the spring perch to where a mounted tire would rub the perch.
(It looked like a 20" would take the rim above the perch and allow better tire clearance.)
Therefore, I would be very interested to know if they were able to get a 19x9.5" to work for you and with what offset to allow tire clearance to the spring perch.

You will have a very nice set-up.
Please post pics, when you get it installed.

The wheels are 9.5x19 ET46 and 11.5x19 ET62. They also tried a Boxter wheel with a tire mounted and said it worked, but chose a slightly smaller offset. Not sure if the car they measured it on had PDCC ... hope that doesn't throw a wrench in it...
Eric @ supremepower was running 19x9.5 ET 43.5 with PSS 255/35-19 and that seemed to work also....
Will post pics once I get them, will take a few weeks...

Lucky you! Boy, I sure can't find any decent prices on OEM wheels! If nothing pops up I will likely get BBS.

20s are not ideal for track use, but the Volk TE37 Ultras would be my first and only choice.

If I can't find a better solution or custom Forgelines(19s and still searching for the right tire sizes) I'll get these and throw on the new Sport Cup 2s, same set up as the 991 GT3.

You don't get a better track wheel then Volk TE37s, used several sets in the past.

Hi. How did the 265/305 on 19’s combo work out? I’m considering the same setup on my 991.1 s with PASM and PDCC. Do a lot of Autocross with this car.

Love the combo. Ended up running Hoosier R7 325/30-19 in rear and 265/35-19 in front. Both sizes work fine and don’t rub or anything.
Run Sebring laps at 2:27 ... so not bad.
Tires and wheels are heavy, so times on the straights are slightly worse but more than make it up in the corners ...

awesome. I'm mostly autocross and to fit within my points budget without going up a classification, I'm going to swap lower control arms to get more negative camber and as the RE71's are no longer a thing, most of my competition has swapped over to the Nankang AR1 100TW. looks like my best bet there is 265/35/19 fronts and 305/30/19 rear - Hoosiers would immediately send me up a classification.

So - that's my plan. looks like you were 9.5x19 ET46 and 11.5x19 ET62. how much wiggle room do you think have have for the front offsets?

and thanks for responding!

Cheers
