Hello from the other side of the country (Toronto). I like your thinking.
Yes we spend an obscene amount of money, so you may as get what you like in terms of all the variations in options. In for a penny, in for a pound.
I'd rather order a new build with the exact specs, and pay more for what pleases me. Otherwise, you save $20k, but aren't as happy.
As for European delivery, they do it for all sorts of countries, so I don't know why it couldn't be Australia as well.
Enjoy!

So we can't do euro delivery in Australia. Oh well.

I've been thinking of adding carbon trim to the interior.

Anyone got any pics of:

Carbon steering wheel
Carbon centre console trim
Carbon dash strip

I've ordered the sports design wheel with paddles, how would this be affected?

Would it look odd if I only did the centre console?

Here are some pics.

I have;

Carbon Center Console Trim
Carbon Dash Trim
Carbon Door Trim
Carbon PDK Shifter
Carbon Door Sills

I really like the Dash Trim, Door Trim and the Door Sills.
So I am happy with this.

If doing again I might rather do leather, on all trim, but in a deviating color.
However, I don't know if it is possible to order that way.
I'd probably keep the center console in matching leather though.

Main reason is the CF scratches easily, so I always worry about it.
I had Expell put on the Door Sills, so they are protected.
I might Expell the center console trim and cup holder door, when I figure out how to remove them.

That looks fantastic. Good feedback about the carbon trim scratching, as this will be my daily I don't to worry about things like that.

Does the std. aluminum trim scratch easily?

So, I visited the dealer today, I will opt for the carbon centre console and I like the carbon wheel too, but can I have this with sportdesign or is this for the multfunction wheel only?

Thanks.

So, I was due for a March build (payed deposit in Feb) but now the dealer doesn't have a build date.

Does anyone else have a delayed build at the moment?

Has the GT3 engine recall delayed the manufacturing of other 911's?

If you were allotted an allocation there should be a build date. And if you were told the build was in March, your order should have been frozen. Because I was unable to make changes 1 month ahead of the build date. But this is all just based off of my experience.

I noticed you don't have PASM on the spec????? You really should get it with an "S" in my opinion.

Pasm is included with c2s's here is Australia. I just didn't spec spasm mainly because of clearance issues.

That's exactly what I thought. I'll pop in and see the dealer if I get time today to see what the status is and whether they are able to provide more definitive timelines.
