Pulled the trigger..
Arbitration is coming up soon.
Good luck with it all!
I am a firm believer in buying cars a year or two old with relatively low miles so as not to realize all the initial depreciation that that happens when you drive off the lot.
Sometimes you have to make compromises when it comes to buying used car. Then sometimes you get very fortunate than you find the right car with the right options. In my case that is what happened. I not only found the car I wanted, but it has to had quite a bit more options than I could've hoped for.
I was really going to get A Cayman. And then I thought maybe I should buy a used 911 S Coupe. Least expensive coupe I could find with the minimal amount of options I desired was in Chicago. A few Thursdays back I woke up and did my normal search the Internet and ran into the car that I ended up getting. For a few thousand more than I was going to pay for the coupe I ended up getting a Cabriolet, with more than $40,000 worth of options. In addition to that it has a built-in escort radar detector and laser deflector as well as xpel on the hood Front and rear bumper.
I can't tell you how pleased I am with this vehicle. I'm also pleased to be back on this board with the 911.

Finally some progress. My 991s was completed on 16/4 and is expected to ship this week. ETA to Australia is 21/6.
Now I'm busying myself by planning a series of epic driving trips
