How effective is the PTV?

The car in this post had it and it still appeared to be spinning only one wheel in the snow. I thought the mechanical LSD would spin none or both, not just one...?

Really? From the pictures it looks like one was spinning much more than the other.

Angle at which rear end was sitting on drift, driver rear had more contact.
