Ugly (I'll be honest) and waaayyy too big.
I have carbon fiber accent and would consider a replacement if:
-the paddles are just as thin and rigid as metal paddles
-the paddles are a bit longer (not wider)
-shifting is a bit more 'clicky'
-oh, and in the end I am OK with metal as it goes better with the steering wheel...

Overall something more like metal blades you find on F-cars

Anyway, you did a nice job, but to be honest, i don't see the benefit of larger paddles in a setup used by Porsche. If you look at other brands, like Lambo or Ferrari, they have the paddles on the steering column (better setup IMO) and in that case you want them to be large.
As long as the paddles are on the steering wheel itself, it makes no difference IMHO. I think the standard paddles are just fine.

+1 Suzy and I'm not fond of carbon fiber in general as a visual accent. It's more function than form for me. YMMV

I have PDK with paddles and no other carbon in the interior so wouldn't work for me. So far I haven't ever had (in 11 months of driving) thought I needed bigger paddles for the 991.

Down side of metal paddles is they get REALLY hot in the summer. I have the Champion aftermarket and They get outrageously hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. The other aftermarket company that makes them (I forgot who) used a high quality plastic that looks like metal. I have heard good things about them.

I really like this look. Thinner more out to the rim of the wheel. It just screams "race me".

FUGLY....Not in my car!

My experience w/Porsche steering wheels:

I have Porsche's $615 optional Multifunction Wheel.

Initially thought I made a mistake, but now prefer the one hand push/pull better than the right +, left - paddles (FWIW had this paddle set up on a 2013 BMW M3 DCT)

Took about 10 min to relearn & have all functions in front of me vs extra stalk &/or reach for buttons on the dash. If I had it to again & the same wheel was available I'd get it.

The console shift w/push forward to up a gear & pull to downshift makes
more sense to me than the new GT3 shifter that is the opposite. What do I know though? - Have not spent any time driving WRC sequential boxes to compare/ complain!

Really nice job and effort, but it's just too much for my tastes..Tends to look like a pair elephant ears, although I must admit I'm not a fan of carbon fiber so that clouds my view of some nice work.

The standard paddles with sport wheel work just fine for me and I think they look nice.. Wouldn't mind if they were just a tad longer (i.e along the circumference of the steering wheel), but I don't think they need to be any wider..

I have the multi-function wheel and love it. But I really wanted paddles. There are several really good options out there you should look at for aftermarket paddles. They modify the buttons to be paddles. Best of both worlds.

I am not a big fan of the entire wheel. Just the paddles.

the carbon needs to match Porsche Carbon a little better, id like to see a "+" "-" symbol in metal engraved on the paddles and would like to see the paddles a little less rounded and more angular, think more Batarang than Banana. Love the slip on idea, depending on cost I may buy a set
