My only point was that compared to all the other 911s that I've owned with the various colors I've never noticed them to pick up dirt even after one drive. It is only in the rear that the dirt accumulates- this maybe from the aerodynamics of the current car?
It might also be from all that crappy sand they poured all over the roads during the ice/snow storms. I've never noticed so much dust on the rear of my grey car since I bought it, and i didn't drive it until it had rained a few times after they spread the sand all over the place.

Part of the joy of loving your car is cleaning it. Even if its just a quick wipe after a drive home from work. Black is no picnic either but it sure does look amazing when its clean. enjoy your Porsche, it's beautiful!

I agree but that comes at no surprise. Black is not a hobby, it's a full time job but nothing is more beautiful than a black/swirl free car. btw, metallic black is more forgiving than "flat" black. White and silver are the most forgiving if that matters. Enjoy the process.

White is one of the best colors that accentuates the bodylines of the car. Silver or beiges are the best for hiding dirt. Who ever suggests black must hate you. Black and red are by far the most difficult colors to keep up, but black is definitely the worst. Shows all blemishes, dust and most importantly swirls. When it's clean and stationary it looks great.

Anyway, I would suggest using tire shine very sparingly so it does not spatter all over the sides thus making dust stick to the tire shine spatter.

My recommendation for a luster tire shine product is PERL by Car-Pro. Use straight up and not diluted - will last about 2 wks even in the south Florida rain. Little to no splatter.

agree with pazzo009. white accentuates the curves and lines. go white.
