Interesting. How loud is the x pipe with pse off? Louder than straight pse (no x pipe) on?

I ordered the car with pse, thanks for all the responses, just wondering what x pipes or exhaust pieces in general from which companies can be used with keeping pse in place? Just in case I want a more aggressive sound/performance out of it when it comes in. Everyone has mentioned x pipes on the forum but I was told pse valves are in the center so changing to an xpipe would eliminate the valve control I thought. I must be missing something.

Fabspeed x pipe!

You retain ability to quiet it down just like before

Center muffler bypass Xpipe will not work with pse on 991. If u intend to keep factory pse on 991 u can only consider side muffler modifications or side muffler delete/bypasses.

The cargraphics xpipe shown in the video posted displayed a significant change in sound and some power gains as well. Is the pse system even an x-pipe?

Good choice in going with PSE! I've got the PSE centre and deleted the side mufflers by going with the side Sharkwerks pipes (but this is on an S) - the car sounds absolutely vicious! I don't know if there is a way to delete the side mufflers on a Carrera (non-S) but this will make a MUCH bigger difference than just a centre X-pipe but it might be too aggressive for some people's taste.

Congrats on your order ! How did you option it?

i wanted the car to sound quiet with pse closed but vicious when open and the cargraphics x-pipe seemed to get close to this. I need a car I can tone down and take the wife to dinner in respectfully.
