991 C4S Vorsteiner Rear Decklid & Rear Diffuser
Wheel sizes are the factory standard numbers (forget at moment) on summer 20s. The fitment on the Vossen CV3's is great, no spacers. Here is the install thread for the wheels from October 2012.
Enjoy your amazing Porsche 4S and thanks for your pics!! More of that diffuser would be welcome also - it's got many of us drooling for some time now, since late '12 even, but we haven't been able to pull the trigger for the price. I have consoled myself with simply having the deck lid.
I really really love that diffuser. Instead I did a Fabspeed secondary muffler thing, and then removed it a year later as I don't want any possible issues back there. Still wondering what to do with the Fabspeed mufflers and ceramic black tips in the garage, I'll put em on E-bay or something I guess.

Just curious, but why? Other than the "Porsche won't sell the front without the rear spoiler" thing.
Myself, I've had several 140+ visits without issue or destabilization.

PS- Good looking lip and a stunning car!
Hi Chuck I didn't mean to sound agitated and apologize if so - just have heard that sentiment from a few people and was wondering. Anyway thanks and God bless friend.. I hope it doesn't negatively destabilize the car anyway. I don't have all the extra pasm or sunroof stuff. It's pretty "interesting" in a cab at speed as it is (ha).

Haha plenty of cars in here I'd like to own as well
To have a car we love and are satisfied with is a true joy and I'm not feeling the "must upgrade to the newer faster better whatever" yet, thank goodness. It's really nice just to have Bessy as a pal.

Are you both happy with the fit and security of the rear spoiler. I have a guards red 4S and I think the black carbon fiber would look great. I'm adding anthracite HRE's so I think the look will be nice. Just want to make sure it looks and fits well.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Hi Nicole -
Looks great. Did you have Benchmark do the install for the Vorsteiner spoiler? Also, are those custom exhaust tip in black? Could not tell by the picture - if so, where did you get them?

Well I guess I'll be the voice of dissent then sorry! I like the rear lip but the diffuser and front lip look tacked on to me and not integrated well into the car. I'm not really a fan of most of the Vorsteiner stuff though going all the way back to the 996. But all that really matters is whether you like how they look!
I don't see how it will affect the results "greatly" either. I doubt such a small change will have much of an effect except at very high speeds (150+) and even there I wonder just how much?
Those specs are interesting, but nobody is going to rent a wind tunnel (including Vorsteiner) to test how much they actually change them. It would be awesome to rent one for a week and test out all of the different wings/diffusers/lips/etc you can buy to see which ones really work well. I'm very curious myself what changes my fixed and higher than OEM-raised position rear spoiler and MAShaw GT2 front bumper cover and lip have on the car. Personally I've never noticed any difference from stock on the street or track including runs up to well over 150, but I doubt anybody would be able to tell with their seat-of-the-pants wind tunnel even if it were possible to do back to back runs immediately after one another.

I didn't mean to imply there would be destabilization or other issues, only that both lift and drag are managed by the base system with good results. Additionally, the angle is even adjusted when the sun roof is opened. The specs provided will give the ability to measure mods against the base.

Hi thanks, yup that's where I went. They are custom Fabspeed tips for Fabspeed mufflers. I removed the aftermarket mufflers later on however and the tips don't fit the Porsche OEM mufflers (sigh) so the gorgeous ceramic black tips are sitting unused in a drawer in my garage.

Need to see if direct fit to my PSE, if so, definitely an upgrade.
Not sure which vehichle you are talking about regarding the front spoiler and diffuser looking tacked on. On the GT Silver 991 the front spoiler is the OEM Sport Pasm spoiler painted to match the rest of the vehicle... For the diffuser - you either like it or you don't - personal preference. In person it looks awesome. Th CF is very high quality and gives it much more aggression.

I am not allowed to IM yet on this site.
I purchased my rear diffuser and rear spoiler from Carrozzeria in Kirkland, WA. Parts, shipping, tax, painting of the rear diffuser and install if both parts - $4800.
If I could do it again I would just have bought each piece and installed myself. Especially if you have a body color that the CF spoiler compliments and do not plan on painting it.
