A day to remember 04 05 14 - 2014 991 C2S - pics
After three months of waiting, the car arrived this week just as ordered back in January and I finally picked it up today. This is my first 911. It is my third Porsche having owned two 944s previously and plenty of other sports cars and high performance cars over my lifetime. I currently own a 2012 e92 M3 Frozen Silver Edition, a 2003 AP1 S2K and this brand new 2014 991 C2S. I just parted ways from my 2013 F10 M5 6MTafter a year and 18K miles, (magnificent car, probably will get another 6MT at the end of F10s cycle), to make room for this new 911.
All I can say after just a few miles is that I have not felt this way about a car experience since I got my 2002 E39 M5. That was my first true high performance car which left me speechless and smiling after a few miles, same feeling with this new 911. So I know that the best is yet to come!
I have been reading the forum for the last three months and I appreciate everyone's feedback (a lot of good info), now I will start to participate and write a review as I learn about this car.
Here the specs and some pics (the car was wrapped and tinted before delivery):

Congrats! That might be the best looking late-model 911 I've seen come from the factory. The aerokit, rear lights, and black wheels all set it off really well. The only thing I wouldn't have done is the model on the doors, but that's obviously a personal taste thing. All in all looks awesome. It'll be interesting to hear your impressions of it versus the old school 944's after you get a few miles under your belt.

Thank you teflon_jones! I appreciate your comments, funny you mentioned the logo on the doors I was on the fence about it, but I really do like the sporty look you get with logo.
