Features - Favorite and Least Favorite

Ok, a little different angle on the recurring favorite and least favorite features.. Interested in

What:

1) Option/Feature that you couldn't live without?

2) Option/Feature that you didn't really want, took it anyway and now are surprised how important it is has become to you..

3) Option/Feature you thought you couldn't live without, got it, and surprised how you could care less about it..

4) Option/Feature that is the most useless to you..

5) Option/Feature you didn't get but wish you had...

I absolutely love the rev matching feature of the sport chrono package in sport plus in my 7 spd manual.

PSE is a huge part of the enjoyment also and glad I have it- I also have the Sharkwerks side muffler delete so the car sounds really aggressive

I I really like the look of the wheels in platinum silk gloss also - goes great with most 991 colours.

I kept my options to the bare minimum - I don't have any options I regret getting.

1) Can't live without PSE. Even though I replaced the mid muffler with an x-pipe, I'm now spoiled by the ability to open/close the valves.
2) Sport Design Wheels. This was last on my list, but I'm in love with them. Looks amazing when clean, and really sets the car apart from many other 991s on the street.
3) Nada.
4) Probably the sunroof. I rarely use it, and forget that it's there.
5) Sport Design front bumper... and possibly S-PASM. The combination of a lower ride height and the different bumper look great IMO.

This GPS guidance system sucks

The input is stilted and awkward in fact the PCM is awkward

PSE (makes me smile when driving off in the morning)

2) Option/Feature that you didn't really want, took it anyway and now are surprised how important it is has become to you..
-Seat Ventilation
-Text messages on PCM display. - Kinda like being able to check..
-Seat Memory (never used it on other cars, but like it because I can move my seat all the way back which helps getting out of the car. Then one button to move it back)

3) Option/Feature you thought you couldn't live without, got it, and surprised how you could care less about it..
-Sport Chrono, listening to the forums I let everyone convince me I needed it. Couldn't care less. Basically I got a clock. Tried launch control once, weeee.. and with PDK Sport+ is mostly never used unless I want to scream along at redline on each shift. And couldn't tell you if dynamic engine mounts matter.. My guess is since I don't track my car it doesn't..
- Sport techno's in black.. Like the sport techno's but I wish I hadn't got them in black.. They look a little to luxury car to me.. Should have just got them plane and saved $1600. Someday I might try to find someone who want's to trade..

4) Option/Feature that is the most useless to you..
- Hands down - the AHA/Data services. What a complete Joke..
- Passenger Side storage net. Can't see it and forgot it was there

5) Option/Feature you didn't get but wish you had...

- LED Headlights..
- Lighting package (I didn't want the keyless ignition. and was only packaged with it.)..
- Illuminated Door sills.. This is stupid, but I kinda like they way they look at night.. Thinking about retrofitting them in.
- Sunroof.. Was going to add it to my build at the last minute but was too late.
- Burmeister(sp)... Same as sunroof was going to add it.. I'm a audiophile so it would have been worth it to me.. But the Bose isn't nearly as terrible as everyone says as long as you set it up right (surround on, and get the bass/treble right).. As delivered it does blow...

Yeah, why is it OEM Navigation systems almost universally suck?? The good part for me is I rarely use the navigation..

Also hate that you have to subscribe to XM traffic to get traffic data on it.. My $150 Garmin handheld gets it via FM for free...

Second was the engine cut-off.

Love PSE
Love Bermester
Sport and sport + are great with MT

Hate Aha - thankfully a cheep option. I added it last second and now never use it.

People say they have a hard time hearing me on the phone with Bluetooth. Even with the top up

Wish I had gotten the sport design aero kit.

Did you have the dealership disable the engine cut-off "feature" or is there another way other than hitting the sport button which is obviously not a permanent fix?

Does it remain in the off position once you park the car and then start it up again?
