I thought about it, but will probably just throw two thin coats of wax on at the end. Talking to some knowledgable folks in the forum about sealant + wax, and it might be a bit of overkill. I'll see how it turns out this way, and if needs be redo the process with a sealant.

Exciting times indeed! I'm heading over to the dealer at lunch to inspect her and sign the paperwork. Hopefully the rain stops, or they have it in the bay in prep, so that I can get a few iPhone shots. Like many, I've asked that they not touch the paint, so she'll be wrapped in the shots. It's supposed to be overcast on Saturday, which will be perfect for the initial decon and detail. I'll try my best to do a photo journal, if there's any interest. I know there's already a few great ones on the 991, so I don't want to bog down the forum with redundant threads.
I'm sure I'll have some questions about posting a pic. Stay tuned!

Thanks! Actually just got back from the dealer...the car wasn't on the carrier this morning and is still at the port. They are going to try to have it transported tonight, or tomorrow night. My dealer is at the shore, so I'm hoping earlier than later, as the shore will be mobbed with the holiday weekend.

Yeah, was pretty disappointed myself. They had a GT Silver Boxster S on the floor. Definitely happy that I opted for the color. They also had a Yellow C4S with the Sport Design package, S wheels in platinum, and the glass roof like my build. Fingers crossed!

Just got a call from the dealer. My car is all ready to be picked up!
Unfortuately, I can't get clear of the office today at all. So I'll have to wait till tomorrow morning.
