My quick advice if you go with the epoxy over the tiles to get the flecks put in.

I made the mistake similar to Money and my floor is very slippery when wet. I keep a squeegee in the garage to get rid of sitting water on the floor so no one gets hurt. Also without the flecks every imperfection is seen as well ...

I had a professional place come to my house, it took them 4 days between cleaning, patching, painting etc. And I went with a light gray color.

My floor started to peel a couple of weeks later where the tires were. I had them come back several times to fix it and finally gave up because it kept reoccurring.

I think they did something wrong with the original mix but then again after the repair work it still didn't stop the pealing.

Here it is a few years later and the floor looks horrible, epoxy peeling where the tires are and it looks dirty all the time.

I should post a picture and you would think it is the 'before' picture.

Sorry to hear about that af, and appreciate you sharing your experience. I think I'm leaning more and more toward the RD.

Great thread, I just bought a home and I'm looking into options for garage. Leaning towards RD at this point.

I went with Colorchips (solventborne). http://www.originalcolorchips.com/
It took a few days for the complete job, but was very easy. I added the anti-skid which is like clear sand so the floor isn't slippery when wet. I used the light grey color with black, yellow, dark grey and blue chips.
My first application was in my main garage, the previous owner had a clear coat on the concrete so I rented a concrete sander to remove it. The problem was that the concrete was too smooth and I got lifting by the tires, otherwise it's still great 5 years later. My second application was when I had a 3rd car garage built, I had the contractor do the concrete with a brush finish, so it's slightly rough and I had great adhesion. Three years later it still looks like new and I haven't had any lifting.
