My Jack Arm is too wide to clear the sloted opening.
So I never even used them.
I might be able to help.

I have a set myself, with the low-profile pads, but I can't get my jack underneath the car when the pad is positioned on the jack's saddle. I'm using an older Griot's-branded aluminum racing-style jack, which appears to be almost identical in design to the one you're using--from the pics it looks like you have a Pittsburgh/Harbor Freight jack.

I need about 1.5cm or so more clearance to get the jack with pad under the car--the only way to get it to work is to take another jack and slightly lift the car beforehand on the other jacking point on that side, which kind of defeats the purpose of this slick design.

Either your jack has 2cm or more low-profile clearance than mine (which I doubt), or your car doesn't sit as low as mine. Do you have SPASM or regular PASM?
Try lifting the car on the lift point where you want to put the jack stand without the pad in place and then let the car down. Sometimes that will extend the suspension enough to get that extra clearance you need. You can also do the same thing and slide a short piece of 2x4 under the tire and let the car down. Now you'll have the extra clearance, you won't need to use 2 jacks, and you can work from a single location to jack up the first corner.

Apologies tooltimer, but someone just grabbed them today.
They are really cool and I wish they fit my jack.

I have a set of liftbars. They are very nice, but a bit unwieldly due to length/weight/etc. Makes it really easy to get the car up, though!

I actually meant help solve the jack fit problem or refund your money if you wanted to return them. Sorry they didn't work out.

Those lift bars look like just what I was looking for! I think I will order a set of those as well.

tooltimer, I appreciate that.
It was close, but it seemed like the upper part of the slot was too narrow.
Perhaps some strategic grinding could have solved the problem.

Have had a pair of jackpoint stands for 6 months and absolutely love them ... low profile pads are great for the 991, though I need to drive on a 2-by-4 to get enough clearance for the jack.
Have a second set of slotted pads for the same stands that I use for my wife's infiniti - fantastic for lifting a car with jack points around the pinch weld ... some people are literally slotting hockey pucks ...

Just did my first oil change on a 13 C4 using 4 Jackpoint stands. Really gets the car up in the air to remove and retighten the oil drain plug. Their website describes the low profile jack dimensions and got one from Harbor Freight. A great product and aid!

really cool stuff! Might need to get a set. I use 4 of these on my racecar (Nissan). Had a lugnut welded on the end and use my electric impact to raise the car when I need to change pads or tires trackside.
