IMO, its on a different level. I have not driven a 991 GT3, but I have seat time in a 997 GT3.
I have....its an excellent car...and am a Ferrari lover.

I just dont see it being on "another level" in terms of performance and neither of us can really make that determination yet....but when you look at the fact that the GT3 narrowly beat out a 12C on track I think its safe to say the GT3 is as every bit as competent as a 458. (theres a vid- cant find it)

Now the looks and noise of a 458 are on another level.

Im not just speaking in terms of track times, there are a lot of cars that could compete or better both out on track, and for less money in fact.

Im a track junkie myself.

The overall experience a 458 gives you is very special, and Im a huge fan of the GT3 as well. But if I could afford either, I would take the 458.

In reality, you can't go wrong with either.
