Anyone in VA want to make a run or two so we can settle this? I have a feeling this 30hp is more like 40-45. BTW, no wheel spin so you get the full effect. I am really impressed.
Going back to my original question. Has anyone run a X51 against a regular 991CS? I know it is only 30 HP but that's about the same difference between a base 997 and a 997 S ( 345hp vs. 385hp, 40 hp). And they are not the same.

Based on your questioning about marginal time differences reported from across different tests that are well within measurement error and variations in gas, air temp, barometric pressure, and driver weights, I don't think it would be worth getting - for you. If you drove them back to back to feel and know what the difference is at various speeds, you might refute that.

As far as the kit being standard on s models, the hit on gas mileage may be a big factor. Also there is a diminishing returns factor.

According to Porsche write up, there is no effect on mileage.
