Question for PDK Owners
Sorry, PDK Owners Only.
What is your favourite gear change?
If we've driven our cars for a while we all have one. Is it UP or DOWN. Is it on the manual side or on the auto side? Is it in Sport, Sport + or Normal Mode?
Here's mine (and let's keep it in this format to make it easy for people as they scan the thread:
2nd ---> 3rd (Sport - Manual)
Under hard throttle, about 6,000 rpm It just smears the power between the two, it's a gorgeous!

1- Thank you for this thread =P interesting topic
2- For me:
3rd ---> 4th (Sport - Manual Shifting)
I switch to manual shifts just to get that extra bit of delay in gear changes...uuuuuh the way the car puuuuurs when I do that <3

3rd ---> 2nd under deceleration (sports)

BTW, this seems like a good place to ask about delay on the 1 to 2 shift in manual.
When I do a manual shift from 1 to 2 under hard acceleration, there seems to be a slight delay (enough that the rpms go up a few k). I'm not sure, but maybe it takes a quarter second or so. It's certainly not as fast as all the other shifts. Normal?

Track? Huh? ...my driveway, usually just before I hit the main road...naaaah just fooling with you all.....seriously, the shift into 2nd that results in a 4000 rpm or above is great....

Admittedly, I've never had enough track to do this...
