Flame Suit Activated!!!
So I was rocking these for the week leading up to and after the HRE Open House in early June. They are a brushed Aqua/Sea Foam/Tiffany Blue. I didn't post before because I just didn't feel like hearing the cacophony of forum groans and **** talking. But hey, it is what it is. These are the P101s and are a different set than my Red ones.
As always with my HREs, I purchased them from Wheel Enhancement

Great choice on the wheel. Gorgeous. I kind of like the color. Not sure if I would like it all the time. Kind of like walking around your house. Fun to do every now and then but not all of the time.

And I give y a big thumbs up for posting.

Thanks Marc! I mean, I live by the credo that if I post, I need to be prepared to take the **** talking as well as the compliments. And I didn't feel like posting and incurring the wrath of purists who will go off the rails because of my wheel choice colors. Not because it hurts my feelings, but because I can't "not" respond.
From a design standpoint, those are too 'bolt-on' looking. If you are going to do that color scheme on the wheels, you should try to pick up the same color elsewhere on the car to integrate the look. If you can find a blue film the same color, or else paint, then look at doing the following all in the same color tone:
* Tops of the mirrors
* The side vertical surface of the rear wing
* The PORSCHE logo on engine lid and have the hood badge de-golded and anodized blue
You are such a good customer of HRE, I bet if you take them a stripped hood badge they would color it for you for free.

Now I can sleep at night. I feel nostalgic for car meets when experts come up to me telling me "you need to do this" or "you should have done that." So this brought me back. Thanks.
It's funny because I actually love the white ones the most. But I do see your point about the calipers, it's just that I change my wheels too often to make it worthwhile to change my calipers --- unless the color I changed them too is so universally matchable.
Yeah I think it's 18 all around and 35 on my windshield. Are you in San Diego? Travis at SD Tint in Sorrento Valley has the exact setup I did.
