991 4S New Car Discounts
Looking to purchase a new 991 4S (on the dealer's lot). Was wondering how much of a discount folks have been getting.
The car I am interested in has a sticker of $129k.
Thanks!

But the latest model year is now 2015. The OP is looking at a 2014 I think. As others have said, I would push for 15% of of a 2014.

15s are now hitting lots. Jim Ellis already has a 15 991 Turbo S in stock.
Ray Catena Porsche is already sending out emails offering 10% off on a 14 C2S. I think 15% should be doable.

I've got say . . . hova00 How does this actually happen ? You walked into a Porsche showroom (somewhere along the eastern seaboard) and the salesperson runs over and says : "We'll give you 8% off" just because you're in the facility ?
Be accurate or stay still.
There is always some dealer that has a specific, less desirable ride, to move but they don't just flop in front of the buyers. GMaB

Actually had the same experience. I said I was shopping around and inquired on their " best" price....this was last year, two dealers at that time and one over the phone said they could give me 9% and that was without any negotiating. I have found Porsche dealers and SA much more accommodating and straight forward then when I bought lesser cars. Just my opinion.

And yes, you can wait another month and the price may drop. You can wait until October, and it will really be cheap. Unless it's already sold, in which case you're just SOOL.
And no, I'm not bitter just because I didn't get 10% off. I just hate to see all kinds of bad information get disseminated here. You're not doing anyone a favor if you tell them that they should be able to get 15% off on a car just because you think that's a "fair" price. They'll end up getting 5% and feeling bad about it because they got bad advice, and they think they should have done better and got ripped off. When the truth is, they did just fine.
