I actually went with the full install at a P dealer. After thinking about resale value and considering that the full install was only about $1100 more (including labor) it was a no brainier.

I posted another thread titled "definitive parts for PSE" or something like that about the experience.

Good route to go. Any future buyer will see a value in getting it installed by the book. Obviously good for warranty issues too.

I just got a quote from my SA- he said it would be $5k to have the dealership install this, (parts, installation, buttons, everything) does that sound about right?

That's really high - check out Suncoast for the parts - dealer should match the price, then add 8 hours for labor and that should bring you to around 3600 plus tax.

Check out the thread I started about this. I did the whole thing (parts and labor) for about $2000. To save a lot of money, order the parts individually instead of the package. The package has some very expensive parts you don't need. Also, install much cheaper on an S/4S.
